³⁵ Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die.^(A) The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.^(B)”

³⁶ So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him^(A) to death,^(B) as the Lord commanded Moses.^(C)

⁹ You must certainly put them to death.^(A) Your hand^(B) must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people.
